Jamieson's Education Committee oversees the education program at the church. Programs include Sunday School, the Saturday Breakfast Series, Faith Community Nursing and Vacation Bible School.
Sunday School classes meet each Sunday at 10 a.m. Classes are available for children, youth and adults, and a nursery is available.
The Saturday Breakfast Series is designed to allow members of Jamieson to share their areas of interest and expertise with other members and the community at large. These topical sessions usually begin with breakfast at 8:30 a.m., followed by the program from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall.
Joe Senz shares presents "Tips, Tricks and Shortcuts for your Windows PC" at the May 2009 Saturday Breakfast Series.
The Faith Community Nursing program at JMUMC hosts blood pressure screenings and provides important health information to church members. The group is looking for nursing and non-nursing personnel interested in learning more about the program.
Jamieson participates in an ecumenical Vacation Bible School each summer. Many of the Clarksville churches join forces to provide this program. Jamieson hosted the 2009 Vacation Bible School July 12 to 16.
