Introduction to Music at Jamieson United Methodist Church
Music is an essential and joyous component in our church life at Jamieson and the quality of the music program is a source of pleasure and inspiration for many within the congregation and the greater community.
Currently, Jamieson UMC has Sunday services at 9:00 AM and at 11:00 AM. The 9:00 AM service is less formal. The 11:00 AM service is typically more traditional. The senior choir participates in the 11:00 AM service virtually year-round. Led by the Music Director, this is an all-volunteer SATB group of about 14 adults that rehearses weekly from September through June. Rehearsals are approximately 1 ½ hours on Wednesday evenings.
Currently this position is unfilled. If interested contact the Church office at 374-8050 and tell them of your qualifications.
