The Worship Committee coordinates the schedule for brass polishers. Volunteers serve as brass polishers during the month assigned.
Items are polished as needed. Please note we now use oil-filled candles. The candle unit has a brass cap which does not need polishing. The altar cross, candlesticks and front door plates should be wiped with a soft cloth only. They have a protective coating that would be compromised if polished. The offering plates, acolyte’s candle lighters and small brass candlesticks on the Narthex table are the items that actually need polishing, per se.
