Sunday Advocate

The Sunday Advocate is published weekly and summarizes news and events affecting Virginia United Methodists.  It is printed in the Jamieson's Bulletin each Sunday.  The past four Sunday Advocates are available online at http://www.vaumc.org/NetCommunity/Page.aspx?pid=496.

November is Advocate Month!

Do you currently subscribe to the Virginia Advocate?  Now is the time to renew your subscription.  If you don’t currently receive the Advocate, this subscription drive gives you the opportunity to discover what a unique publication it is. The Virginia Advocate is a full-color newsmagazine.  It helps to keep us connected with United Methodist news and upcoming events for our conference and beyond.  It relays stories of faith in action and ideas that we can try at Jamieson.  If you have never read a copy of the Advocate, there are back issues in the rear of the sanctuary for you to browse.

Subscriptions are $15 per year for 12 issues.  Save money by subscribing for 2 years at $25 or 3 years at $36.  Order forms for the Virginia Advocate will be in the church bulletin during the month of November.  They may be turned in with payment to the church office or Barbara Cowley or may be placed in the offering plate.  Checks should be made out to Jamieson Memorial United Methodist Church.  Please write Advocate as a note on your check.  Take this opportunity to subscribe!
