Summer camp time is almost here –
swimming, boating, campfires, ropes course, Bible study and much more!
One-week sessions for children and youth, ages 7-16, are offered at our United
Methodist camps.
The Virginia Conference of the United Methodist Church
provides an outdoor ministry for all ages -- a fun, challenging, and unique
Christian experience in a camp setting. Emphasis is on fun in the outdoors with
the guidance of caring counselors who listen, play, share, and teach. Camp is
about independence, making friends, challenging activities, "cool" counselors,
campfires, vespers and special programs. Daily activities vary among the camps,
but all include Bible Study through discussion, song, drama and games as well as
swimming, crafts and sports.
Each of the five United Methodist camps offers one-week
camp programs for children and youth.
